This project focused on a website with a solid brand presence that faced challenges in gaining visibility in non-branded search results. Despite having a well-established reputation since 1986 and a network of over 17 branches strategically located across Singapore, most of its web traffic was coming from searches using the brand name.
When we took over the project, our mission was clear: to expand the brand’s reach by thoughtfully targeting non-branded and location-specific keywords. By enhancing the site’s overall domain credibility, we aimed to unlock the full potential of organic traffic, driving significant growth and elevating the brand’s visibility across the digital landscape.
The website currently does not have separate pages and URLs for its main tuition courses, including PSLE, Secondary, and JC levels. Mavis offers tuition in various subjects, including Science, Chinese, Math, and English, and aims to achieve high search engine rankings for keywords related to each individual program. Additionally, the website is overloaded with multiple plugins, which have caused conflicts during updates. This has created significant challenges in implementing a new structure, design, and pages.
A comprehensive restructuring was undertaken, which included a complete overhaul of the menu navigation system to improve user experience. Additionally, over 40 new pages were created, each designed with specific content in mind and by the latest Google algorithms, specifically EEAT, to enhance the overall functionality and accessibility of the website. This effort aimed to streamline information and ensure that users can easily find what they need.
We audited our competitors’ successful blogs to identify effective strategies and content themes. As a result, I created a content plan for 2 to 6 new blog posts each month. This includes updating outdated blogs for improved readability and SEO. Each post will focus on relevant topics, incorporating targeted keywords to enhance our online visibility and engagement, positioning our brand as a thought leader and driving organic traffic to our website.
With a vast array of pages and sub-domains to manage, we make it a priority to conduct thorough technical audits using top industry tools like SEMrush and Screaming Frog. Our goal? To ensure that our website runs smoothly, free from broken links and slow loading speeds that can hinder our SEO performance. By tackling these critical issues head-on, we help our site achieve its full potential!

Next, we developed a high-authority link-building strategy to ensure the website meets Google's primary ranking criteria in Singapore, thereby fulfilling the requirements for Authoritativeness.
